This year dental health week takes place from the 7th to the 13th of August 2017. The theme is Anywhere, Anytime, Oral health for busy lives. The focus is on oral health basics, four simple tips to maintain oral health.
The four tips are:
1. Brushing twice daily with a fluoride toothpaste
2. Using floss or interdental brushes at least once per day.
3. Eat healthy, reduce sugary drinks and food.
4. Visit the dentist for regular check ups.
Dental heath week is run by the ADA, there will be events and media appearances to highlight this year’s theme, the simple steps you can take to look after your teeth, even when you are busy.
